Perhaps he will get the QSL cards out eventually. This is disappointing since the Japanes are usually great at QSL'ing.

No, I don't believe KH8AL was his USA call. It belonged to a US ham who
traveled to the Caribbean and So. America on DX trips. But his trip to
KH8AL/HK0 shows JH1NBN as the QSL Mgr. Maybe he was part of the team and
somehow took on the QSL duty.

Here is some QSL info on him from 1998:

QSL VIA  JH1NBN  ---> Yuki,  JH1NBN  (Yoosuke Uchiyama,  924-4
Yokokawa-Cho,
Hachioji, Tokyo 193-0823, Japan) reports that direct cards (received
through
December 1997) for  his past operations  have all been  sent out.  He is
now
working on bureau cards received between  August and December 1997. Yuki
can
confirm contacts made with 3A/JH1NBN, 8R1ZB,  8R1ZB/p, KH8AL/HK0 *only*
(not
the other KH8AL operations), J83ZB, KC6YU,  T22AA, TE9RLI, JH1NBN/TI5,
TI9X,
TN7A, V63AQ, VP2MEY, W3USS (1996 and 1997 ARRL SSB Contest *only*).

I am still waiting for my KH8AL/HK0 after 3 requests in 1995, 1996, and
1998. I since gave up since I got HK0 confirmed by another group.

Here is another website concerning his QSL mgr ops:

Alan,

I am a kind of new comers to DX world since 2001 - 2002, and I didn't know
that he used to have KH8AL as his US call sign.
Very surprised.

I am still keeping in touch with him for his QSLing issue, and we are
discussing the way how to help him.
I recommend him to use one of the widely used logging software which can
easily export the data in ADIF.
This is the first step for him to get a help from the others including me.

Yes, he is very late. I am still looking for a KH8AL/HK0 QSL from 1995 (18
years) after sending 3 requests with SAE and $$$ and IRC. No reply as to if
I might be NIL or what the problem could be. In the meantime I did get HK0
NA033 confirmed via other operations.

Carlo,

JH1NBN is a friend of mine and I meet him quite often.
Yes, he is late to send his QSL for his operations from many entities.
He is sorry about it.
I will tell him your request at the next time I will meet him, maybe by the
end of this month.

Yutaka, JQ2GYU

Anyone received QSL for operation as C21BN (Sept. 2012) by JH1NBN?

JH1NBN is not even responding to his mail address as per QRZ.com

Thanks for any feedback and/or info on how to get QSL
