[Dx-qsl] DXCC Study

Question? Just why would you want to do this? That's a lot of gas money? The
rules should be made to cover the vast majority of the norm. Would you advocate that the
rules should be made to cover a unique situation at the expense of 99% of those who come
under the rules. That does not make sense. How about just setting up an auto-Computer
to function 24-7 making your contacts, or better yet, just one Master in each and every
country which will make contacts on some mode, even CW at 2,000 w.p.m. allowing anyone to
get in a QSO if they had a machine capable of a 2,000 WPM QSO.
Then, everyone would have the same totals. Once the LOTWs were confirmed for everyone,
we could all shut down and not spend more time hamming and take the little ladies out to
well deserved vacations and meals missed while we Absentee ham husbands were on the rig.
The ARRL shuts down and DXCC is History.
I'm dusting off my Straight Key and firing up my Globe Chief and SX28. Maybe the Hog
Callers Net on 80M can hear me.

Perhaps they could realize that there is a distinct difference between the west and east coast. Due to the propagation differences (which can be extreme at times), the US could be split into 2 different entities.
Remote operating is a mixed bag in my opinion. It allows people to work places they otherwise could not work from there home QTH (why else would they do it), therefore it should be looked at differently for award purposes.
