This is hardly a great DXpedition ... a substantial number of operators
are simply not up to the demands of a "top 10" DXpedition. Their long
and sudden disappearance, their inability to control the pile-up, their
constant calls for SA, Africa, Asia, etc. instead of concentrating on
working off and controlling the pile, their long stretches on 160 at
5 or 10 QSOs an hour when other bands are open with huge pile-up are
all hallmarks of a poorly planned and executed operation.
I'd put this among the bottom quartile of major operations in the last
20 years ... I had much higher hopes based on the leaders and their
experience but it appears that their operators or execution simply is
not up to the demands of such an "in demand" entity.
