In 425Dxnews from 1995 is really written
till 5/2 VE: Antarctic Base Patriot Hills * by VE3OOG & VE7MKZ 191
QSL-information should have been via K4MZU, maybe you can try to contact
K4MZU and verify from him.
It looks like they really were on Patriot Hills.

Are you sure it wasn't someone with a call celebrating Antarctica week or
something like that. I worked VA7ANT who was signing /AN for Antarctica week
but he was actually located in B.C. Canada. Also K9A/AN and K4Z/AN in the
USA.

Subject: [Dx-qsl] VE3OOG/P
I worked VE3OOG/P on 12/31/94 and have it logged as Antarctica, CE9.
Clublog however wants me to change it to VE but I am reasonably certain he
was indeed in Antarctica.
Anybody out there work him and know what base he might have been on? I would
email him but no address is available on QRZ.
Any help is certainly appreciated. Thanks and 73
