Not just that, but I'm fairly sure that Italian international postage is amongst the highest in the world, and $2 isn't enough.
My 2011 chart said it cost €1.60 to send a card in an envelope to North America and 2 Euros to Japan/Asia. Assuming it didn't go up again for 2012, that's $2.09, not factoring in the cost to exchange US dollars to Euros. For JA, the postage is $2.62 (US Dollars), plus the exchange. Any wonder why LoTW is gaining popularity so rapidly?

I THINK what he is saying is you didnt SEND enough money for the stamps.......
Italy has a serious IRC problem, IF you sent them an IRC thats the problem.

I sent card with 2 gs to IZ8CCW per instructions on qrz.com. This was sent
10/29/11 for qso of 10/27. On 3/1/12, i sent email query and received the
following reply:
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>http://www.mdxc.org/5r8ui/qsl-recived-direct/
if you see the * near to your call
the contribution is nto good for
send direct sorry
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
So it looks like he received my card but no money (or card and 1gs, 1
missing?) or...?
I have not resent, waiting to see if it shows up via the buro.
It's not a question of what I sent - I record every card sent very
carefully. I sent $2. I would be interested if anyone else had similar luck.
