Received direct from AP2JZB, two month turnaround ... from when he finally got it.

This was for a qso ten years ago.  I had sent my card several times over the years to his CBA (yeah, I really wanted the card), but air mail envelopes drew attention and always got stolen.

 Solution: Airmail return SASE sent inside a plain white envelope mailed from inside Pakistan with a Pakistani return address.  And Pakistani stamps on the return SASE.  I was lucky to have a colleague from Pakistan who occasionally visits the home country on vacation.  I prepared the SASE and explained what I needed done.  He bought the stamps himself and affixed them on the outer and return envelopes.  Sailed through with no problem!

 AP2JZB wrote a nice little note how he is not on the air anymore much due to age and health problems.

 If any of you really want his card, suggest you do the same.  Many colleges and universities have Middle Eastern studies and you may find some Pakistanis on the faculty.  A gift of some chocolates or other sweets certified "halal" (the Moslem equivalent of kosher) would be a good icebreaker.
