Alan,
Thanks for the reply. If indeed this is true, it is very sad news. I've found another couple of RARE OC IOTA's in my log resulting from Marcel's island hopping. I'll keep digging and keep my fingers crossed in hopes we will find that someone rescued the logs. I'm thinking of trying to contact one or two very active ON hams to see if they have any ideas.
It probably would be a good idea for each of us to think about "what do I want to happen to my logs", before it is too late. Thanks to a kind ham in Florida, my EL2AD, 7Q7AA and PY1ZBA logs are now on LOTW but my W4FOA logs (all 3,000 handwritten pages) are still in organized binders.
If anyone on this list knows more on the ON4QM logs (FO0DEH), good or bad, please share the info.
Thanks, 73 and Happy Labor Day holiday to one and all. Stay safe.
Tony, W4FOA

I also sent QSL requests to ON4QM for FO0DEH's activities shortly after he
returned home in 2001 but never got replies. I inquired at the IOTA website
if they had any knowledge of confirming these rare IOTA's and was told to
the best of their knowledge the logs were thrown out and there are no
records of FO0DEH's activities. I worked him when he was on OC-057 and
OC-094 and those are my only contacts with those IOTA's

Since Marcel (ON4QM) became SK in 2010, am wondering if anyone has info on
whether someone else has taken over the QSL managership of FO0DEH's
activities of 2001? Looking in particular for a lead on FO0DEH's activity on
IOTA OC-062.
Thanks for any tips.
