It is official. No more USCG LORAN stations.

First CW, now LORAN.

I was fortunate enough to visit almost every USCG operated LORAN station in
the world including Marcus, Iwo Jima, Kure, Johnston Isld, Yap, Palau,
Ulithi, Wake in the Pacific, Tan My, Hue Phi Bu, and Con Son in Vietnam,
Sattihipp and Lampang in Thailand, several in the Philippines, Hokkaido and
Okinawa Japan, Korea, Iceland, Lampadusa Isld in Italy, Slyt, Germany,
stations in Alaska and the North Atlantic and North Sea, Cape Christian
Greenland (The Coasties there would go to Thule for R&R) and many more, all
as a airborne radio operator/navigator on US Coast guard C-130's.
