Rob HK3CW,
Let this one go. Any excuse that he did not get the qsl because of mail
problems is exactly that, an excuse.
I had tried direct several times years ago for an 80m cw qso, not the easiest
path from W6. Finally, I had a friend who was going to Latvia on business. My
friend mailed the letter domestically, plain white envelope, not airmail. He
put correct Latvian postage on the envelope, everything for YL3CW's convenience.
Nothing. No reply. No answer to e-mail. Not even a reply through the bureau.
If hams don't want to qsl, that's fine, as long as they announce that in the dx
bulletins or QRZ.com. But it's not right to say qsl via abcde and then keep the
green stamps.

I checked the back issues of The Daily DX, via the Google Search Engine, and
it appears no one has reported receiving a QSL from C53CW.

Did anybody here ever get a card from C53CW through YL3CW, I've reserched
the net and found one site that says he never got the qsl either. My CW
collection would be better with the C53 and the YL CW's!
