Yes - this is from the June 15th issue of The Daily DX.

"This past weekend Cuban station CO0OM was QRV from Loma de Perle, Santa
Cruz del Norte (EL-93), Mayabeque province, Cuba. The special call was
"requested to the Cuban Ministry of Informatics and Communications" says
CO2KK, Arnie. It was done as "a tribute to Cuba's top DX operator,
Jesus Oscar Morales Tur, CO2OM, the first Cuban radio amateur to ever
work all the DXCC entities, and mentor to two generations of Cuban radio
amateurs". CO3IT, Adalberto, was the CW op. QSL via CO3JY."

Has anybody figured a quicker way than the bureau to receive a CO0OM
card? I have NEVER had any success from CUBA and am very reluctant to
even try. Did he by any chance get a manager yet?
