On a slightly tangential note...

Bought some more airmail stamps at the post office this morning, and I asked
for some of the blue 19-B air mail stickers.

I was informed that they are no longer available "because everything goes
air mail these days!"

Anyone know if this is true, or was this just a postal employee being
snooty?  (She was already annoyed with me for not knowing I had to fill out
a custom form, to send my niece in London a birthday present.  Seems I was
supposed to know where the notice that they forgot to post was... and yes,
she actually said that)
