     Speaking of Romeo Stepanenko
     If I remember corectly someone was offering a "Worked Al Romeo" award back in the mid  1990's, as a joke.  A black and white certificate with a Jolly Roger Flag, listing all of the callsigns of his "DX-peditions".  
     Had the "pleasure" of meeting him at the Dayton Hamvention in 1992 where I picked up my XY0RR and YA0RR cards. Nice souvenirs of ham history, still have them.   Of course at that time, we all thought hsi operations had been legimate.
