The autumnal equinox marks the first day of the season of autumn ...
Good time for low band DXing

Never thought about the physical meaning of this date.
But when you look at the picture from the space we see that the
sinusoid line of sunrise/sunset became into a rectangle.

Somewhere there is certainly a more detailed picture - but this has
got today first in the eye when corrected text.
Tomorrow or the day after such a picture will not, will again be transformed into
sinusoid
