Yes, you can go to:
http://www.rsgbiota.org/
and enter an IOTA number or Island name, callsign, etc, in the SEARCH box to get info on the contact. There is a place to sign in on this page but you do not need to sign in to use the SEARCH window.
Now trying to get your cards checked for credit is another story. There are a total of 3 U.S. Hams and only ONE person for your part of the country designated to check your cards. You must send your cards to them. They don't attend conventions. Several people from the RSGB IOTA Committee come to the Intl DX Convention in Visalia every year and give a talk on the IOTA program. I have BEGGED them to please set aside a little time to check cards but they won't. They won't even allow the Visalia Convention Committee to put out a blurb on the convention website asking if there is any interest from those planning to attend to have IOTA cards checked. Who knows, maybe it would only be a few people and they could be done in an hour or so. The ARRL DXCC cards are always checked during Visalia but the IOTA folks won't allow the ARRL card checkers to check IOTA cards even if they are there to oversee the actual checking.
I have confirmed QSL cards for 440 IOTA islands worked. If they are all accepted is another story but they look OK to me with the IOTA number and island name, etc, on the card. I don't expect someone to sit down and do all 440 cards at one time but maybe 100 or so at a time at each level.

FYI: According to RSGB/IOTA rules. the IOTA number does NOT have to be on
the QSL but THE ISLAND NAME does. And yes, none of the info can
be hand printed on the QSL. The island name and/or IOTA # has to be on
the QSL from the printers OR if the IOTA station types labels with the
island name
and/or IOTA number on it and puts it on the QSL that IS acceptable. IF
you work a station claiming to be on an IOTA and you know the Island
name,
but not the number or vice cersa, you can always check your IOTA
directory (if u have one) or ask your checker.. I think the IOTA website
also has
a place where you can access the data base as well. Im pretty certain of
above - i've gone through several instances of no count because of
these "discrepancies".. You gotta love the Brits - they put every
stumbling block in your way to make everything honest eh!! GL 73 Al

PS feel free post on reflector or pass on to whomever.
I went thru this with a VE2 who operated from an IOTA several years ago.
He wrote the info on the QSL. I wrote back explaining he had to
put a label or type the info on the QSL. He kept sending another QSL with
notes and writing the info on the QSL. This went on 4 times - even
after I sent a note telling him the rules...The little Fenchman was so
stubborn he wouldn't even put the label I typed and sent him on
the QSL!! He wrote a letter and stapled it to the 5th card verifying he
operated from the island. I sent an email to my cunter explaining
this and he finally he laughed and gave me credit for the effort after he
read the 2 page letter!!
