    Hi to all; 

 

    Thanks all for your inputs. Sad to see more and more people on the same
situation and my guess is that Steve is doing a big mistake with his
attitude instead of leaving his job as manager to another person. What
annoys me most is the fact that the station holder as well as the manager
aren´t willing to give any kind of explanation and still continue to work in
the same way. We should considerer to talk with the ARRL to see if they can
help us in any way. I can´t understand why all this but of such a kind of
bussiness between the manager and the station´s owner. Personally, I´m going
to send a message to both the ARRL and URE to let them know what´s
happening.

 

    Regarding Julio EA5XX, yesterday I sent to him a message about what some
others have told over here and he has replied with a very kind email that
I´m traslating to all of you. I was worried about the lack of answer of
cards from Julio who is actually a member of the URE´s director board. He
replies as follow:

 

    CN8KD is a good friend of mine. The problem I´m having with him is that
he sends his logs once a year and thus I´m having sometimes that delay
answering a card. Please, tell your friends to make things sorter, to send a
message to  <mailto:ea5xx at ure.es> ea5xx at ure.es with all the qso details and
if they´re in the log I´m willing to confirm their communicates without SASE
neither green stamps or whatever. I´m doing this more for the frienship I´m
sharing with CN8KD than for anything else.

 

    Hope I can help out anyone. If any of you need CN8 for your DXCC just
drop an email to Julio. He would be glad to help. Thanks and pleasant
