Your update is much appreciated.

It would make life easier both for Appollo and the DX-fraternity if he was
using computerlogging and uploaded to LOTW.   Do you think he would accept
a donated laptop computer ?  Because if he did, I am sure we all will make
a contribution so he could get one.

Any chance you natives would go there again, also with the purpose of
cooperating on a mini DX-operation for a day or 3 ?
