I concur with Fred.  Even with well intentioned newsletters and QSL lists, there are and continues to be a significant problem with misdirected cards, and bureaus are sitting on hundreds, if not thousands, of cards all of the time.  Indeed, many bureaus are forced to simply destroy mis-addressed and misdirected cards owing to the volume.

I think Fred is attempting 1) to notify people as to specific instances of misdirected cards, and 2) give a gentle nudge to people for them to ENSURE that they have the correct QSL routing on their QSLs so as to not be disappointed or angry when three years go by and the sender still hasn't received his/her return QSL.
