[Dx-qsl] QSL received - VK9NS

A few weeks ago, I was going back into the log to collect up a few
unconfirmed QSOs for 5BDXCC.  I sent a card to Jim, VK9NS.  I got to
thinking that we may not have this great man with us for very long and I
wanted to confirm those QSOs with him.  Within 2-days, I heard the news that
he was silent key.

 

I mentioned this to my XYL - that we lost a great ambassador for ham radio.

 

I wasn't sure what would happen to my cards and hadn't thought much about
it.  But today, I received the cards in the mail.  His XYL Kirsti (VK9NL)
had sent them.  I certainly appreciate this surprise.  Thank you Kirsti.
We'll all miss Jim.
