Good Evening All

Russell Baird, or Russ as he commonly known, ZL4DJ was a well known DX'er and fellow ham radio enthuusiast passed away shortly after 9pm last evening in Dunedin Hospital after a long battle with cancer.

Russell was a great one to "Rag Chew" and he has helped many in our hobby/passtime in our local area for a long time.

Our deepest sympathies go to Russell's wife Olive and their family.
