[Dx-qsl] Vlad UA4WHX Cards

Rich,

This Vlad UA4WHX saga continues.  From my experience Vlad is very
selective in who he qsls and who he responds to e-mails.  I have tried
many e-mails, and other than the first one many years ago, he ignores
all the rest.  So I asked an American ham friend, who had recent e-mail
communication with Vlad, to e-mail Vlad on my behalf.  Well to my
surprise Vlad responded immediately.  This is in late May, 2009:

Hello Bill,

I understand. We have not touched most of VE QSLs yet. What we could do,
if he needs it so desperately:

A FULL list of QSOs via e-mail and payment with Pay Pal to
payment at svezhyveter.ru

That may help somewhat, but still the answer will take a while (I would
reckon - two months in his case).

Let me know if that helps. As he and you may well imagine, we receive
multiple requests for lots of QSOs, so keeping track and making sure we
answer them all (once and not thrice as often requested) is a challenge.

But I will be happy to assist in his case.

Glad you liked the talk. Will try to help your friend. I am in Russia
for a few days, so I can sort a few things out quicker.

I still have not received any e-mail communication from Vlad nor have I
received any qsls.  In my opinion if Vlad ever decides to complete his
qsling, it will take years and years before it happens.  Until then I
still consider Vlad to be a 'black hole'.
