My response to Bernie's email re the DXCC Yearbook was intended to be directly to him and probably due to my error, was posted on the general reflector. I was not looking for sympathy re my problems with DXCC. That is my personal issue with them, but I do appreciate the comments that resulted. I took someones adivce and decided eto call Bill Moore directly.

When he looked into my records, he found that they had indeed not done their job correctly and took a number of actions to correct those problems. He was his usual accomodating, pleasant person. The fact that he had not responded to a number of my emails trying to rectify the problems is a situation that they are plagued with at DXCC. Apparently their email system is not all that reliable.

He does want us to continue using DXCC at arrl.net , and if we are not getting a response, send it again and request a "read receipt" (his words) that will indicate back to you that they received it and read it. Not sure how you do that, but that is what he said. My standard email composition page does not have a place to indicate that. I think that their systems are poor at best and do not always work reliably. The phone call when things aren't working is probably the best thing to do. It worked for me.

BTW, I recently received a standard form email letter from David Sumner reminding me that I had not renewed my ARRL membership. This was answered by me stating that I would not renew my ARRL membership now or in the future if my DXCC problems were not resolved. My unhappy reply resulted in no response from them at all.

No replies or comments are expected or wanted from folks on this sreflector re all of this and hopefully all of you continue to have good experiences with the ARRL and DXCC. Thanks again for your suggestions and comments.
