If I am not mistaken, the new RSGB IOTA system is just to get your
information into the RSGB IOTA database and to produce an "application." It
DOES NOT eliminate the requirement for card checking by an authorized card
checker (I just went through this process with my card checker, N9BX). It
does not serve as a confirmation system as LoTW does.
Someone please correct me if I am wrong.
