[Dx-qsl] another sad tv program

Im sitting here, down in the dumps, just from turning on the TV set and
again watching the Letters to Home program on HBO.  Its the second time Ive
seen it, and just happened to turn it on and recognized immediately the
Cowherd family that was being interviewed.  Their son, and one of my Boy
Scouts, was killed in Iraq and one of the ones featured in the program.

Another useless and unwinable war.  Don't get me wrong.  Something needs to
be done about the Al Queida, and the other extremist organizations, but I'm
no more up to the task of knowing just what, than our so called experts, in
or out of government.
We cannot turn our backs on them, as they will stab us, again and again.
They simply do not want us to live as freemen, and insist we become moslem
and follow THEIR way of life.  We are NOT going to do it, and thus its a
rock meeting another rock.  One will eventually crumble, and we have to be
sure that is not us.

They have an advantage, at this point.  We refuse to be drug down to their
level.  We protect them, here in the states, giving them the same "rights"
as our own civilian population.  Now there is a big argument about
"waterboarding" whatever that is.  You can bet, on their side, their leaders
are not sitting around listening to someone saying they should treat us with
more respect, not torture us when we are captured.  They don't allow an
American, or other western lawyer, into their "courts" to defend those they
have captured.  They don't even have a :court" but simply pronounce a
sentence, simply because our people are there.
