[Dx-qsl] better dxing

Hi
I have a kenwood 940s with a built in ant. Tuner. I just picked up a
heathkit amp. The question I have is inorder to tune the radio should I
turn the rig on and tune then turning on the amp, or have the rig on
along with the amp before I tune. Does it make a difference.
The better I get out the more dx
