Response from NC1L on 2006-12-15, after asking when
yet again I was told by somebody my unsigned QSLs
were not accepted for DXCC:
"In short, signatures are definitely not required."
However, in the case where the details of the contact
are not put on the QSL by whoever is sending it out,
it is understandable that something needs to be
added to verify what is there is correct & a signature
would be a good way to do that.
Getting somebody who only eQSLs or in W9OL's
case, somebody who says "fill it out yourself" to sign
& return something might be difficult, as it's likely
these folks don't want to deal with any paperwork. GL.
