The Canada US standard letter size is 3 5/8" (92mm) X 6 1/2" 165mm.

Many stations use QSL cards that don't fit into the standard letter 145 x 90
mm  envelope... [Australian]
Mine included, plus most Japanese and many Russian and European stations....
also use a larger card..
then again I'm not sure what size envelope they are talking
about...appropriate  "US size envelope"..
maybe its the size I already Use... 165mm x 115mm  maybe this IS the
standard US QSL envelope....??
