Just a fun FYI and trivia at its highest order! Fred Harman the creator
of Red Ryder & Lil Beaver lived on a ranch in Pagosa Springs, CO. His
son, Fred, NØJSP, is the owner trustee of repeater NØJSP and runs a
small Red Ryder museum, with his wife, there on the ranch/repeater site
in Pagosa. I have met Fred, who is in his mid 70's, a few times while
vacationing in Pagosa Springs which is in SW Colorado. Fred, NØJSP, had
lived and worked in NYC for CBS or NBC(?) after his Navy discharge
around 1948 or so. He then retired to the family ranch.
73,
Don WØDM (337/337) (But no VU7 propagation/reception for a beam at
60' and QTH elevation 5555')
Littleton, CO (But born in The Bronx)
