This is one reason why I insist on more than one QSO to be reported
upon. If the SWL heard you - and got the callsign of your
'qso-partner' it would have been fairly easy for him to hear the next
QSO - or at least make comment on band conditions. 

It is possible [grey-line] that he did hear you - but personally I
have very grave doubts, especially in the middle of a big contest - as
you say the EU QRM would have been pretty horrendous.

I wonder if Andreas has any thoughts on this.
