[Dx-qsl] It Never Ends

My direct QSL applications always include a nested s.a.e. and enough
IRCs to pay the return postage. I also include one extra IRC as a
small "thank-you" for the manager. Hopefully, this helps him cover
part of the cost for those who don't send enough postage.

The good news... I get quick returns, and often the extra IRC comes back too.

The downside... sometimes the return also incudes several QSLs for
other VE hams, along with a plea to forward them. Well, I don't mind
doing that, mostly out of sympathy for the poor manager, and (perhaps
misplaced) optimism about his honesty.

What really bugs me, though, is that after I've spent time, stamps
and envelopes to forward to my compatriots, I hardly ever get a
"thank you" e-mail or letter from them. Clearly, ignorance begins at home!

Non Illegitemos Corundum!
