Wayne,

You did a great job. The conditions were simply poor 
on low bands. maybe next time.

Also, 30 mtrs band was opened unexpectedly early
(like 17:00z) for us in VE.  However you were busy
with EU/JA at that time. For some reson C9 is
still rare on 30m band.

The 72' vertical loaded great on 160/80/30M with 60 90' radials.  I
could 
hear some stations but they could not hear me.  Props were not with me.
The 
first two nites was not to bad but after that things went down hill.  We

will find out about winter/summer props in July as 6 other guys are gg
back 
to the same place I was.  Rite now it is the beginning of Summer in SA.
I 
was on most nites b4 transition and every morning 45 mins b4 transition.

QRN was bad except during transition.  For about 30 mins it was about as

good as when 40M is open.  Hey by the way, I worked 1606 RTTY QSO's out
of 
8570.  I was shooting for 10k but RTTY slowed me down.
