because none of them were what i thought were good qsos (and i evidently was
right). logged them but,
one was questionable because qrm from frequency police was constantly
covering them.
the second was a qso where he wasn't sure if i was kq2i or kz2i. it went
back and forth a few times and i finally figured he had it or not. no sense of
beating a dead horse and holding up the action. turns out he had kq2i in
log. it's always possible kq2i WAS calling at same time. i hope he was. i
would rather that was the case than not get call because op copied call wrong.
the third was just outright pirate station i was sure. nothing else on band
and he was 599. but after the first two...
running a 35 year old tube rig to inverted vee on 30m here, so not optimum
set up. i'm sure you have better than that. or at least you seem to from
your holier-than-thou attitude. and i guess the lesson is that even someone as
great as you can't always bust the pileup. oh, and the next time you want
to make your snide remarks to someone, take it OFF the reflector.
