A few years ago I had trouble getting cards out of about 5 stations who
confirmed the QSO via eQSL (this was prior to LotW going live).

What I ended up doing was printing the "e-Card" on cardstock along with my
own QSL card and mailed both to the operator or manager, along with the
requisite SAE & IRC's/GS's.  Simply put a note on my QSL card requesting
they sign their "e-Card" and send it back.

4 of the 5 promptly sent me a regular QSL card for the QSO.  One I have yet
to hear from, but I've since confirmed 80 meters from that entity from
another station so it no longer matters.

I've also done the same thing for a few stubborn stations that aren't on
eQSL or LotW; just made up a somewhat generic card with all the info & asked
them to sign it and sent it back.  In all but 1 or 2 cases, a regular card
has been returned.  The 1 or 2?  Well, some will never QSL no matter what!

OK here is one to confuse everyone!   I worked T33C back in April 2004 on
two bands, both SSB and sent a card to F5CWU.  I got my card back, saying
"Not in log".  So I sent her an email asking about that, and just got email
back saying she checked and they still are not in the log.    Now - it
hurts, but I can accept something happened and I didnt get in the log - but
and its a big BUT- both contacts have shown up as confirmed in eQSL.   Say
What??
Have sent another email asking what is with that.
