No, on second inspection, you can scratch that card.

G4DFI confirmed G3RCV/p QSO's with W3WM, not with me. Date appears to be
1996, too. Funny that they're the same day, month, time, band, and modes as
my two QSO's, a call one letter off and 10 years earlier... nah, couldn't be
sloppy handwriting...

Sad thing is, my cards are now computer generated (with Arial font, for
those interested) to avoid this very problem. I got a little tired of
getting "WA3VAW" and "WN3YAW" and so on in the past under the old call (and
of course, many of the managers always told me it was my fault due to my
handwriting...). I've emailed G4DFI, but I guess that's another card I can
write off.

Why is it that when some managers make a mistake, they don't do the right
thing and correct it? I know many managers on this list have owned up to
errors and fix them. But many others, well, don't. I don't mind assisting
in the cost of postage to get a card back, but I don't think it's right that
I should continue to pay, card after card after card, for a manager's
error(s). What's even worse is when a mistake is made, it's acknowledged,
and then the replacement card comes back with the same mistake, and I've had
that happen too.

Oh well, enough venting for one day. I guess this is the price of doing
business, so to speak.

73, ron w3wn
