Thanks for the tip. I worked DT8A on 40M this morning. But I wonder if 
he has a receiver problem? He was an honest S9 on my FT-1000, but he 
only gave me a 339 report. He had been calling CQ on 30M earlier and 
wasn't answering anyone. He was much louder on 40M than on 30M. I did 
work him on 30M a couple of weeks ago.

BTW, I got him to QSY to 40 via the packet cluster. Even on such a 
remote spot, he has an internet connection!
