yep, quite possible.  all the bad mail delivery  is NOT outside the USA.  i 
have had more mail lost here in charlotte than i  ever did in NJ.  took 8 days 
for a hospital payment to go across  town.  i could have walked it there in a 
couple of hours.  and we  constantly get mail for addresses that have the same 
house number (different  street).  i dutifully put them back into the system, 
but heaven knows how  many of MY qsls have gone awry.
 
oh, well.  life in the big city and all that  rot...
 
remember - it's only a hobby.  have fun.   enjoy the challenges.  smell that 
great electronically induced ether  (burning components?).  and when all else 
fails, think about how you could  be at work instead of in front of THE radio.
