Correction:

A letter up to 20g (Standardbrief, no more than 5mm thick) from Germany
to Japan (outside Europe) costs EUR1.70 now (thank you Deutsche Post
:-p).  This surely exceeds USD2 - USD3 required now for covering the
postage.
