[Dx-qsl] When to use IRCs

Unless it's a country which does not accept IRC's (few and far between), or it's an operator (or QSL Manager) which declines to accept IRC's, you should always be able to send one. In many cases, with the currency fluctuations, a single IRC might net the DX station that air mail stamp or equivalent, when US$1 (or even US$2) might not be enough.
Of course, you can always run down to the corner over priced convenience store and break that $5, they usually have SOMETHING under a buck. If you have one in your area that's open late or overnight, that is (ditto a late night or 24 hour drug store or supermarket)

Subject: [Dx-qsl] When to use IRCs
How is everyone today ?
Sometimes it's obvious when to use an IRC such as when you are warned (occasionally) of mail theft at their end.
Sometimes it's a country where they don't want to get involved with GS because they aren't supposed to.
But what about the random guy who goes on a one man DXpedition ?
Does anyone use IRCs here ?
I keep several new current ones here for those other cases, but sometimes it's 8 at night and you have a bunch of 5s in your wallet and want to get the envelope out of your way.
Thanks for the input
