Hey guys
When we applied to the various Associations for sponsorship to assist
with our expedition, we were told by NCDXF that they would decline our
application as they deemed there would be insufficient intrest from
Stateside Hams for this Country - or words to that effect.
We made a serious attempt to work USA on 160/ 80 /40 / and 30 meters and
I think from our statistics we achieved our
pre-planned aims and objectives, with a good percentage of Stateside
stations in our logs.
This has resulted in a large number of direct applications from
stateside stations, more than i ever imagined.
I had my cards printed by
UX5UO and have started getting them out as from last weekend. Some
guys on this list can testify to that.
So please be patient. I work a 10-12 hour day most days. I'm going
as fast as I can. TY5LEO and TY5MR
were also at VU4 so they really have their work cut out. If you've
waited 20 years to work TY then a few more
days / weeks wont make ll that much difference........
Best 73 to all
