I can agree, 122 direct cards not received yet for Jan 2006 to today only
counted..so what, they will eventually come. I can't even figure for 2005
and past that that hasn't come yet. I have sent an email to the Op or
manager after a few months to ask about a qsl..only because I have recently
needed a few on 30 and 160 to complete my 10-160 9 BDXCC confirmed ( in 4
years too ! )...thats all said and done so I doubt too many emails will go
out for a while asking about any cards. I really do like the
surprises.....makes everyday Christmas at the mailbox getting "gifts' like a
little kid !

I suspect that feeling is echoed by 99% of the readers, of this thread?
If/when I send direct: "I mail the card, with the appropriate SASE/donation,
whatever, and forget about it". If/when it arrives, that allows me to be
"surprised", instead of thinking about it, during the time it takes. If/when
it doesn't arrive, I'm still "surprised", because I've forgotten about it!
YMMV
