Hi Hutch,
That was my concern also but after discussing with them it is stored and
kept as separate files. The only cross checking that is done is for
DXCC and that is a check only and uses whichever call is needed for the
country.
If you have, say three calls registered, like me, (W9IXX, W9IXX/4, and W9LQY)
they are treated as separate files and the system keeps them separate.
So if, for example, A61Q submits a log to W9IXX/4 it will go into the
W9IXX/4 file only not the other two. Comment here is to register the call
as you have sent it on the air. EX: I send W9IXX/4 NOT W9IXX/w4
Then the computer checks that that may a new country/mode/band and will go
to the
DXCC registered base call, W9IXX for me, and indicate a new country/mode/call.
So far has worked ok for me.. Believe me I had a hard time realizing how the
system works and checks things also. Old guy learning new tricks..... HI....
As the system stands now there is no checking for counties, grid squares,
states, etc
which is good since all the calls I have above are for DXCC where the program
works. In the future if they try to use for states, and the like, will not
work as
now setup. If they want to check for states will have to relist all the
qsos for
each state in a different call file.... Can be a big problem for those who are
mobile and etc.
For DXCC the system works great and have now been using for 2yrs and after a
learning curve think I have it understood.
I believe that, Dave, NN1N handles a lot of the questions on this system.

Thanks to Dave and Bill who have helped me a lot on questions I have had.
