The good, the bad, the ugly.

Pleasant supprise today to receive an envelope back from Monk Apollo, just
two weeks after I sent him mine direct.  I sent out 25 cards that day, and
his is the first to come back.

The good/bad:  He confirmed 1 out of 3.  Twenty  meter CW was good, but two
others for 40 CW and 20 SSB were marked negative.
The SSB, I thought, was a shoo-in, because I spoke to whoever it was in
Greek, and he responded the same.  Does he actually work any SSB?

The ugly
I do not understand the jollies these pirates get, working one after the
other contacts, with the wrong call.  They not only cost us time and effort,
but money in trying to get a card when one isnt due.  That means my SSB
countries worked just went down by one, just as I was reaching the honor
roll point.

3Y0X could make up for that one, If I could just hear them lound enough to
bother to call, and if they could hear me.  I was off the air 10 years ago
when they were there, and I might as well be this time, so far.
