Roger, one of the things I like about all the reflectors to which I
subscribe is that you very often learn what you don't know in very short
order.

You were right - I needed to correct the path, to that which you indicated.

That appeared to fix the problem I HAD - but it created another.

I now see what I 'think' is the appropriate screen, but only for an instant,
then it disappears.

So, thank you Roger, and again I ask - can anyone help this time around.

Many thanks in anticipation.

Are you sure that you have the path correct? The path for MMTTY on my
computer is C"\Program Files\MMTTY\MMTTY.exe and it works for me. Hope this
helps.

Subject: [Dx4win] MMTTY and DX4Win

Hello all.

I do not use MMTTY at all - I use MixW for all digital activity.

Nonetheless, I would like to set up and test MMTTY within DX4Win, simply to
see how it all works.

I have downloaded MMTTY to my Program Files, and within DX4Win
File/Preferences/RTTY, I have None in the 'Type' box, and C:\Program
Files\MMTTY.Exe in the 'MMTTY Executable' box.

When I try to open MMTTY from within DX4Win, a MMTTY window (what looks like
the receive and transmit windows) come up on screen, but I then get a
message that states 'MMTTY could not be opened'. And that's all. I simply
cannot get the program to work.

Is there someone who could, step by step, show me the error of my ways.
Perhaps show me where a step by step set up routine may be available.

Any/all help appreciated.
