[Dx-qsl] question of mailing direct to buros

Have been printing out and filling in hundreds of QSL cards, trying to catch
up with missing mode/bands and responding to incoming buro cards for the
past year. I find that I now have about 18 linear inches stacked in a box
for mailing.

Have any of you forwarded cards direct to overseas buros, versus sending
them to the ARRL outgoing buro? I have a feeling that it would be cheaper
to mail some of these directly overseas since many of them are intended for
individual large buros such as the UK, France, Japan, Germany, Netherlands,
etc.

What would be the cut off weight to warrant such action? In other words, a
half pound of cards sent to Germany, versus paying the ARRL to sort the box,
and mail the cards to the same German address, plus my postage to Ct. for
them to do so.

Another question is: Where is a list of all overseas buro addresses?

Thanks
