Ahhhhh...the proverbial can of worms has been opened.  For the record, I follow Ron and Phil's 'process'....if you've got it on a band/mode, the only way you'll get a second card is via a direct request.  

Last count of bureau cards received, where I did a 'serious tally' of the results, showed that about 60% (58 to be exact) were duplicates....being defined as the call I manage had been requested and answered before for the band/mode. 

Now, if someone wants to "help"....lets do the math on the next 70 pounds I get....

Roughly 300 bucks for QSL cards
Roughly 24 bucks for labels
roughly 40 bucks to get the cards to me
roughly 280 bucks to get the cards back out

Do that math, and then look at 60% of it due to 'duplication'.  Add on top of that you have to often make a choice with an hour...do direct, or sort thru the burro cards....realizing, also, as Nenad pointed out...many have come via direct as well.

Not having a bad day, just making those that send a card to everything that moves realize what the pain is.
