A little while ago there was a thread running here of the difficulty of
getting a QSL card from this operator/call from the listed QSL route.
My mate (Dave, VK3JMB) and I were among the sceptical, both having sent
QSL requests for long ago contacts with no success. For Dave it was
somewhat more frustrating /concerning, as it was a new country for him.
This time we sent our cards together to the operator, I think!, LZ2UU,
Yordan Radkov Yankov, Box 196,7200 Razgrad. Bulgaria, with new IRC's
only (no money), in early March this year - and today I received our
cards in return.
The QRZ QSL route is listed as LZ1KDP, but this did not work for either
Dave or myself initially - and as I recall, has not worked for me a
couple of times in the past for other QSL's. BUT, the return address on
the letter received indicated that it came FROM LK1KDP.
You work it out!!!!
Thanks Yordan or whoever for making a couple of VK's very happy.
