[Dx-qsl] A Scoundrel in our Midst?

It is quite common for me to receive other U.S. ham's QSL cards in my
return envelopes. Several weeks ago, however, an unnamed Russian amateur
sent 34 cards in the envelope with my return QSL card. All the cards had
W5-land calls; I forwarded all 34 cards in envelopes.

I can understand one or two extra cards being tucked into my prepaid
envelope; however, I am not the W5-land incoming QSL card bureau and I am
not his stateside manager.

I received a return email from the unnamed ham after I asked him why all
the other ham's cards where in my envelope. He responded that if I could
afford a direct card to him with IRC then I could afford to send the
other's cards on also. (I guess there is some truth to that.)

Be that as it may, if any of you receive my cards, please send them to me;
I will repay the postage.

Bill, NI5F
