Interesting!
My experience is in contrast. I have received two direct confirmations
from LY2ZZ, Jon.
Number one in 1998 that was received back within a month. An SAE plus a
green stamp was included with my card.
Number two was last year. Turnaround took 3 months, but an SASE with
Lithuanian stamps was use then.
I don't recall receiving any piggyback cards with these, as I usually make
a note in the log.
However, I have received one to three piggyback cards in past years from
others. Last year I received one for a VE3. They are always forwarded on,
but I have yet to receive anything back for any of them. The 37 cents
isn't my issue, just a common courtesy. But still, I am glad to help a
fellow award hunter.
In Jon's defence, perhaps there is something about this we don't know or
understand. Perhaps not.

By the way, there are many aspects about QSLing that really irritate me,
but I like getting the return cards.
