This shows up here periodically, and I've posted this before.  ER4DX QSLs
via the bureau, and I have cards to prove it.  If you're not going to be on
this earth long enough to wait for a bureau reply, then does it matter ?  If
you're going to be around longer, then you can wait for a bureau reply.
I've previously posted a list of ER QSLs received unsolicited via the
bureau.  Call CQ when the band is open to Europe, and work one of them !
