[Dx-qsl] Return address on QSL's mailed

Will,
Well...this is going to open a can of worms, as I've been accused of 'using SASEs' for purposes other than returning the QSL to the person that sent it. But, as you have been kind enough to suggest that is OK (THANK YOU!!), let me tell you what I do, and perhaps other managers might consider this.
Bottom line to your question, however, is place your or my address in the return area of the envelope. If I want to USE it...I'll cover it up.
However, I have found that a ton of 37 cent SASEs are not particularly useful to me. What I do is periodically take a large quantity to my post office, where they basically give me a check for face value of the envelopes. SO, if I take 100 .37 SASEs in, I get a check for $37.
Now, rather than buy Sam Adams with that check (albeit tempting indeed...helps with licking envelopes!), I turn around and buy 80 cent stamps or postage for M bags (for bureau cards).
So....Thanks for allowing me to use the extra SASEs....I once angered a ham for using his SASEs, turns out he was collecting stamps, and he needed the ones sent to me returned, and he only received one envelope. Folks. we're VOLUNTEERS, not MIND READERS...I think you'll find that QSL managers by and large do the level best they can in a thankless job.....that is NOT a 'for profit' enterprise.
