iota lotw.  talk about alphabet soup!
 
i'm not really doing iota (yet), but here's a gentle  request/suggestion.   
when you island hoppers fill out the info for  your LOTW, please be sure to use 
the XX-999 format for your iota id (such  as NA-001).  in this day and age of 
computers, standardization is real  helpful.  i've pulled my lotw qsls down 
to my pc and sorting by various  fields.  i have found iotas expressed like 
NA1, NA01, NA001, NA-1, NA-01,  NA-001, NA 01, etc.  i know i can go in and edit, 
but i'm a lazy, old  guy.  and non-islanders - leave it blank (not "n/a", 
"none",  etc)
 
it's coming that one of these days IOTA will accept LOTW  data.  so you REAL 
IOTAers should be pushing this.  remember,  computers are dumb machines and 
only do what us smart humans tell them to do  ;-)
